Agent 99: 70's pop/rock. I love these guys! One of my all-time favorite gigs!
Talk Bass: I'm a gear slut, plain and simple. This place is great for learning about all the latest new gear, and then flipping all the old gear quicker than pancakes at a Methodist breakfast social.
Bad Ass Bass Players: Another great site for bass players. Especially if you live in the money zone (below the 10th fret).
Rich Meaty Taste: Fronted by a good buddy of mine, Mark Reinhart, who throws gigs my way from time to time. His freakish ability to play just about any song you can think of is.....Well, its freakish!
Bill Fitzmaurice Speaker Cabs: This site is a must if you're a DIYer kind or person. Bill has a unique approach to speaker cab design that's worth checking out.
Lakland Basses: I love these basses! Never met a Lakland that I didn't just looooove to play! IMO, Lakland is the standard to which all other bass manufacturers are measured.
The Bar-Kays: I am lucky enough to have played with two members of the Bar-Kays. Frankie J (trombone) and Michael Beard (drums). In fact, w/out doing the math to tell for sure, I've probably played more shows with Michael than any other drummer I've played with! And folks, I've played with a LOT of drummers. Michael is back on the road with The Bar-Kays after a couple of decades and I miss him quite a bit. He's funky. He sings great. And after a vodka he's goofy as heck. What's not to like??
